What is Confirmed Connect?+
Confirmed Connect is an optional feature within Quantum Events that lets you book confirmed, structured meetings with speakers, founders, investors, and other industry leaders attending the event. Unlike casual networking, these are pre-scheduled, committed meetings that appear on both parties' schedules.
Is Confirmed Connect free?+
Many listings are completely free — the host simply wants to connect. Some hosts set a fee for their time, especially for in-depth strategy sessions or portfolio reviews. You'll always see the price before booking.
How do I book a meeting?+
Browse available listings, pick a time slot that works, optionally add a note about what you'd like to discuss, and submit your request. Free meetings require host approval. Paid meetings are confirmed after payment.
How do I offer meetings as a host?+
You need a Quantum Events Pro account with a completed profile. Apply to become a Confirmed Connect host, and once approved by our team, you can create listings with your available time slots and optional pricing.
What happens after I book?+
The meeting is added to both your schedule and the host's schedule automatically. You'll see it alongside your other event sessions, networking blocks, and vendor visits.
Can I cancel a booking?+
Yes, both parties can cancel. For paid bookings, refunds are handled by our team on a case-by-case basis.
Can I list anonymously?+
Yes. Hosts can choose to appear with a descriptive profile instead of their real name — for example, "Senior Exec at Meta Reality Labs" or "Partner at Top-5 VC Firm." Your identity is revealed only after a booking is confirmed, giving you control over who you connect with.
Can I donate my fees to charity?+
Absolutely. Hosts can designate that some or all of their booking fees go to a charity of their choice. Listings with charitable donations are highlighted with a ❤ Charity badge so attendees know their booking supports a good cause.
Does this replace regular networking?+
Not at all. Confirmed Connect is a complement to the AI-powered recommendations and casual networking that Quantum Events already provides. It's for those times when you need a guaranteed, structured meeting.
Is there a platform fee?+
For paid listings, Quantum Events retains a 20% service fee to support the platform. Free listings have no fees. When a host donates to charity, the platform fee is waived.
